Eager to capitalize on the water ways, the Bomadi Community has donated a one square kilometre parcel of land to develop a river tourism resort.  materials, designs and construction techniques of the Igbo civilization
 and the Benin Empire. It has an impluvium at its centre to collect and 
channel out rain water and as a bridge between the ancient and modern, 
the house is already famous worldwide and has become favourite subjects 
of doctoral thesis by students of twentieth century neo-classical 
architecture.

architecture.River Ethiope, reputed to be the deepest inland waterway in Africa, has its source at the foot of a giant silk-cotton tree at Umuaja in Ukwuani Local Government Area. It then flows through seven Local Government Areas in the State. By the time it reaches Sapele it has become deep enough to provide a harbour for ocean-going vessels. It is one hundred and seventy-six kilometers long. Access to the site is from Warri through Abraka and from Asaba through Agbor, Umutu to Umuaja.
