This is a living History Museum, The only one in Nigeria. It was
built by Chief Nana Olomu of Ebrohim. He was powerful nineteenth century
indigenous entrepreneur. The magnificent edifice is a reflection of his
grandeur. His personal effects are housed in it and they portray his
enlightened contract with the British Empire under Queen Victoria. Koko

Asaba BeachThe beauty of Delta State is held together by the dozen of rivers,
stream and creeks which crisscross it. The majestic Niger, one of the
most famed rivers of Africa, washes the shores of the capital city,
Asaba. Further downstream, it breaks into the dozens of creeks through
which it empties itself into the Atlantic. During the dry season, the
golden sandbanks of the Niger are sight to behold and ideal for

axation.The Bomadi Beach Party is just one example of how tourist can enjoy
the gift of nature. It takes place on the fascinating sandbanks of the
Niger at Bomadi; headquarter of Bomadi Local Government Area, on the 1st
of January every year. Eager to capitalize on the water ways, the
Bomadi Community has donated a one square kilometre parcel of land to
develop a river tourism resort. Other such resorts are to be sited at
the Niger Bridge, Asaba and Abraka.

These rivers, their tributaries and distributaries as well as several
lakes make Delta State the paradise of those interested in River
Tourism. They can enjoy sport fishing canoeing, speed boating, and
swimming and, of course, varied seafood in our beautiful State
Araya Bible Site
A
copy of the Holy Bible is believed to have descended to this spot
miraculously from heaven around August, 1914. The site now attracts
thousands of Christian Pilgrims, especially during the Easter Season.
Access to it is easier during the dry season (October to April). Araya
is in Isoko South Local Government Area and access is by road from Warri
through Ughelli and Oleh or from Asaba through Kwale and Oleh to Araya.
Demas Nwoko Edifice

Nwoko is at once an architect, a builder and an artist of international
repute from Idumuje-Ugboko, in Aniocha North LGA of Delta State whose
ideas have crystallized in this building. It is a product of traditional
materials, designs and construction techniques of the Igbo civilization
and the Benin Empire. It has an impluvium at its centre to collect and
channel out rain water and as a bridge between the ancient and modern,
the house is already famous worldwide and has become favourite subjects
of doctoral thesis by students of twentieth century neo-classical
architecture.
River Ethiope, reputed to be the deepest inland waterway in Africa,
has its source at the foot of a giant silk-cotton tree at Umuaja in
Ukwuani Local Government Area. It then flows through seven Local
Government Areas in the State. By the time it reaches Sapele it has
become deep enough to provide a harbour for ocean-going vessels. It is
one hundred and seventy-six kilometers long. Access to the site is from
Warri through Abraka and from Asaba through Agbor, Umutu to Umuaja.
