The Federal High Court in Abuja has restrained Mr. Dara Adeleke and Osawu Solomon, both Chairman and Secretary of the People Democratic Party (PDP) of the Caretaker Committee in Ondo State from parading themselves as officials of the party pending the determination of the motion on notice.
The order was granted by Justice Adeniyi Ademola in an application brought by Seja Sunday and four others moved by their lawyer, Chief Bolaji Ayorinde (SAN).
The court, however, stopped the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) from accepting any list for the primary election into Ondo State House of Assembly, House of Representatives and the Senate.
It gave a caveat, “Except those elections were conducted by wards, local government and state executives elected by the congress of March 10, 2012.”
The court also granted injunction against abridging the tenure of the Ebenezer Alabi-led executives.
The case has been adjourned for hearing on November 19
